Animals in the Tube - MtnVwPilot

Jun. 12th, 2007 09:49 pm Animals in the Tube

The London Tube Map has long been one of my favorite info-graphics... Well, now somebody has started a site showing animals hidden in the Tube Map, like so:

Smashing!

I discovered this via the delightful Strange Maps blog...

Cool website, thanks. So, what's happening with your house-hunting, or shouldn't I ask?

We didn't get the house in Berkeley that we put an offer in on a couple of weeks ago. However, we're putting in an offer today on a house in Alameda; hopefully we'll fare better this time around.

Dayum. Good luck. Is everything still going for more than the asking price?

I second Joy on the coolness of the blog. What great maps, both the Underground animals and all the other strange maps.

Thanks! Good news on the Alameda house, though I'll wait to make an official announcement until we've cleared the last inspection/contract hurdles... ;-)

No, not everything, but most still are. The Berkeley house seems to have been a special case of agent and/or seller craziness, though. It was priced at $850k, and will probably end up selling for more like $1250k. They got 16 offers; it was just ridiculously underpriced as listed.

That's really weird and cool, thanks for the pointer!
